Branding BT's dedicated health tech offer

BT Health is a division of BT Group, dedicated to providing digital health solutions to the UK healthcare system, particularly the NHS. With over 75 years of involvement, BT supplies a significant portion of the NHS's connectivity infrastructure.

BT Health focuses on health navigation, patient flow, and remote care, using technologies like AI to enhance patient and clinician experiences. The company collaborates closely with healthcare professionals through its clinical advisory board and Vanguard Programme.

We were approached by BT to design a brand identity for the division, to establish itself as a key player in the digital health sector, aligning its visual identity with its technological capabilities and healthcare-specific offerings.

Our solution drew inspiration from BT’s master brand at the time, which featured back-lit cutouts of people against a clean white background—a nod to Apple’s aesthetic, emphasising BT’s aspirations in the tech space. To add a distinctive touch, we introduced a solid purple variation and designed a bespoke set of icons. Additionally, we organised professional photoshoots with healthcare workers in uniform, creating a robust image library that effectively showcased BT Health’s connection to frontline care. This cohesive visual identity not only reinforced the brand's relevance in healthcare but also positioned it as a forward-thinking player in the industry.
